A magnificient mountainous area of Ha Giang province, MeoVac is one of the most attractive places at wild beauties and rich cultures in the Northern part of Vietnam. It is truly amazing to visit one of vivid local markets – Lung Phin, MeoVac where there are mostly ethnic peoples – H’Mong, Red Dao, Tay, Nung living in this area. The market is regularly open every 6 days on the day of Tiger or Monkey following the lunar calendar. It is ususally started from 5.a.m in the morning and closed around 2 – 3 p.m. .

Joining in the market, everyone is in well dresses to have meetings, purchase, barter or enjoy the foods. Mostly, people walk from very far distance in the early morning to meet the market as soon as they can. It might depart from home around 3:00 a.m from their own villages. They keep follow the different paths to the main hilly road heading to the market. Some are carrying the baskets with full of stuffs. Some are holding cocks, ducks, pigs, goats. Others are carrying foods and corn wine. All are mostly excited to come this market

I was travelling in the north east and visites Meo vac, lung Ping market etc. I was in Hanoi, halong bay and ba be national park.
