Holy land for photography

A photo trip to Hoang Su Phi, Ha Giang province is a desire of any photographer in Vietnam. Naturally, magnificent landscapes and local life styles have overwhelmed many camera lens. The rice terrace here has been recognized one of the country heritages. Nam Ty village is located close by the Heaven Gate as it makes a “WOW” to all the visitors on arrival. From the pass, the terraces are full of rice spreading hill to hill with fantastic colors. Early morning is perfect moment to take shooting as some light fog flying over terrace creating a mystery place. The best time to visit can be suggested in May – June when the flooding waters in the terraces and in September – October when harvest time is.

Life style
People who are living here mostly are minority groups called as Red Dao, red H’Mong, Nung, Ha Nhi…. Their costumes make a unique beauty here. Local markets are open every Saturday morning or weekends. People bargain, exchange or purchase living stuff. Some go to the markets by their own motorbikes while some others go on bare feet with stuffs on back. Indeed, it is amazing and colorful here. It is suggested to visit this place during the weekends.
